West Virginia Horse Back Riding

Leisurely and laid-back wins the race on this trip through the New River Gorge. Follow century old abandoned mining trails long since recaptured by nature and quiet trails that criss-cross the southern rim of the gorge. The horses are chosen for their quiet demeanor and ability to share this unique experience with even the most novice rider. The guides work hard to make sure the pace is gentle so there's no hitch in your giddy-up at the end of the day. Don't forget to bring your camera - the horses love to pose for pictures.
