Trish wrote a great Bridge Walk blog post about the jitters she got taking pictures out beneath the New River Gorge Bridge.

But it doesn't seem to show in her photos. Bridge Walk will be offering tours — the first of its kind here in West Virginia and the U.S. — this spring. Here are a few more images she took on that day:

The catwalk is over 3,000 feet from end to end underneath the New River Gorge Bridge.

The catwalk is about two feet wide, but a safety system and harness keeps you on top.

My question is....Whats this going to cost?

Hopefully it's NOT going to be another over priced tourist trap.

Good question Boog. The price is $69 dollars. It really is an one-of-a-kind experience - I would do it again at that price.

Looks like a hella lot of fun, but scarey at the same time.

Hey Judy - it's a bizarre experience, I loved it, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous and a little scared. Once I survived I was on a three day high. ;) Doing it again next week if the weather holds!

While initially scary, it really is exhilarating. As someone with a fear of heights, I felt secure the whole time. You have to do it if you are in the area.

OMG...I wouldn't set foot on that thing if they paid me the $69. Driving across the bridge is one thing, but if I'm going to venture out on foot, I'll take the scenic route and walk across that little bitty bridge that you used to have to cross before this bridge was built. Plus, it's fun to talk to the rafters from down there... and much closer to the water. LOL
