Imagine you've just taken a trip down the Gauley. Who says the fun has to end?  Join us at the Lost Paddle for an evening of fabulous food and the perfect way to complete your whitewater adventure.

Open seven days a week, the Lost Paddle serves up a tasty menu with something to suit everyone's fancy.  No driving worries, the Lost Paddle is located lakeside on ACE Adventure Resort property.

Since it's Gauley Season you might want to try a delicious appetizer such as the Fuzzy Box of Kittens — crispy onion rings served with a spicy dipping sauce.  From succulent salads, to big juicy burgers, to specialty sandwiches, the Paddle offers the freshest and finest ingredients.

Oh, and did I mention the wide selection of beer and spirits?

Valerie and her crew aim to please.  You won't be disappointed.  With live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night, it's the place to come for an evening of fun.  It's a casual atmosphere with amenities such as billiards, foosball, pinball, corn hole and large screen TVs.

David and I are hooked on the High Five sandwich.  Served grilled on a ciabatta roll with garlic mayonnaise — sink your teeth into tender, thinly sliced ribeye with grilled onions and peppers topped with provolone cheese. It's outstanding.  We always go all out and get the beer battered fries, too.  They are great, and we love to dip them in ranch dressing.

Now, you may be thinking that's not for you.  Well, I would like to invite you to try one of the other offerings.  We've tried many, enjoyed them all, but the High Five is our favorite — not surprising, considering the Five-0 hit in Lost Paddle is my favorite rapid on the Upper Gauley!

The Lost Paddle has great food and you can often find many of the guides relaxing after hours at the Paddle.  Come join us and you decide. Let us know about your favorite.

Who is this crazy looking woman? Can she be my guide? Does she even know how to paddle? Do they have low-carb, low-fat menu items?

I wanna go down the Gauley!

Marc, the lady in the picture is Valerie. I can not speak for her as to her willingness to guide you down the river but I can tell you that she is quite capable! I was fortunate enough to have Valerie working a trip with me when I guided my very first customer trip. Not only is she an expert in the culinary field but she is also a master of whitewater. The Lost Paddle and ACE's dinning hall have selections that will please anyone's dietary needs. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! Give us a call and we will get you scheduled on a Gauley trip! Hurry though, because next weekend is the last weekend of Gauley for this season. I would suggest trying a Bridge Day package, rafting the Lower New on Saturday and then running the Gauley on Sunday...it's awesome!!!!!!
