Another (Very Affordable) Lodging Option At ACE

The New Cedar Cabins have arrived.
 
Cabins? When you hear cabin at ACE, you generally think deluxe - hot tubs, bathrooms with hot showers and all the fixin’s. Don’t get me wrong, I love to stay
 in luxury too, and the “deluxe” accommodations at ACE exceed my standards.

But for just a night or two during a whirlwind two days at ACE, sometimes
 all you need is a place to keep your hot dogs cold and lay your head at
 night.

Life In A Tent

Most people would probably say, "Yes, but for how long?"

A night? A weekend? A week? A month?

1200 Square Feet Of Tiled Luxury

Considering my bathroom at home is the size a of Cracker Jack box with a doorknob, I was thrilled to hear we were expanding our main shower house facilities at ACE.  

And thankfully, those in charge opted to improve the ladies bathroom first.  

As you can see from the photos, it’s well on its way to completion.  The finished renovation will include:

  • 1,200 square feet of tiled luxury,
  • 30-feet of counter space,
  • 10 shower stalls each with a private changing area,
  • 8 sinks,
  • 5 private bathrooms, and
  • 1 handicap combo.
All this space will be heated and air conditioned for our comfort.

Family vacation, and other forms of torture

What is the longest amount of time you could spend with all of your relatives? My answer is about 15 minutes, and that is with a double dose of my medication.

I love them, but we are a hot mess. Who am I kidding? I am not exactly the easiest to get along with. I am admittedly high-maintenance, with what some may call an attitude.
