West Virginia is known popularly as The Mountain State, and 78 percent of its land area is covered in forests, which ranks it third in the nation for percentage of forested land. There is not a more unique way to experience the mountains and forests of West Virginia than on ACE Adventure Resort's Guided Zip Line Canopy Tour. Your Guided Zip Line Canopy Tour takes place out near our climbing site on River Rd and consists of 7 canopy tour zip lines covering around 2000 feet! The lines launch from both cliff tops and platforms in trees and end the same kind of way, only someone is there to hook you to the tree/cliff before we unhook you from the zip-line. There is some walking, about 100 feet, from one zip line to the next so that everyone can have the best ride possible. This is a great way to end your whitewater rafting vacation. Everyone will be outfitted in a padded, full body harness for extra comfort. We have 7 zip lines ranging 150-350 feet, reaching speeds of 30-35 miles per hour. The last zip line will end at our Middle Earth rock climbing site where they will be picked up and brought back to the Climbing Barn, where they checked in.
