Guided Climbing Experiences

If you’re a novice, try our half and full day guided rock climbing trips. Our experiential format gets you right out onto the rock! ACE Climbing School works hard to ensure that your experience is the finest possible. Our experienced, well-trained rock climbing guides use only the finest equipment. This year we have expanded our rock climbing areas on-site within the Upper New River Gorge. We have beginner-friendly climbs and with the expansion, have found a variety of moderate climbs and more challenging routes, too.
Half and Full Day Upper Gorge at ACE Climb & Rappel
Our half and full-day experiences are designed for the novice who wants an introduction to the sport of rock climbing. Conducted in the Upper Gorge, this course is meant to complement your adventure vacation. We introduce rock climbing and rappelling as a guided experience. Full Day Lower Gorge Climb and Rappel
This course is designed for those who have a more adventurous spirit and desire a higher physical challenge. You will travel to the beautiful vertical world of the Lower New River Gorge. Your ACE guide manages all aspects of the climbing site and fits you in the proper climbing gear while you challenge yourself on climbing and rappelling on canyon rim cliffs. The Half-day experience concludes at 11:30 am or if it is an afternoon trip at 4:30 pm. Climbing shoes are not included. No experience needed. Includes instructor, shuttle, all gear and on the Full-day, a deli-style lunch. Available year around.
