As for Swainson’s you can find them in most places where the habitat is right – rhodo and low tangles with water nearby. Two easiest places are the NPS parking lot for the Fern Creek trail. Rhodo at back edge of lot is almost always harboring birds. Another great place is Babcock State Park. Head down toward the gift shop and by the turn for the cabins you can usually find them.
