This summer, enjoy a total river experience on the New River. Set in a spectacular 1,200 foot canyon, the New River gives you the East's best summertime rafting. The warm water,classic white water and calm pools below each rapid make it a perfect river for ages 12 and up. There is more than just whitewater on the Lower New River. The canyon rim is lined with miles of overhanging cliffs and verdant green forest and, you may even catch a glimpse of one of the old ghost towns. On this trip you get a more conservative ride than you would expect from the ACE standard 14 ft, 7 man raft and you get all of the ACE extras, use of the 1,400 acre ACE Adventure Center, premium lunch and seasoned, professional guides.

Summer Upper Gauley River Expeditions

ACE pioneered the Upper Gauley River in the Spring and Summer. An ACE Guide spends more time on this legendary run, at more levels than any commercial Guide. This experience allows you to challenge the Gauley at a variety of levels, throughout the year. Most outfitters run the Gauley during the Fall "Gauley Season" only. Reduced summertime flows make the Upper Gauley River's rapids even steeper and more demanding but, if you have what it takes, it is the ride of a lifetime. Whatever the water level, we select the water craft that is suitable, whether 14 ft. rafts, 12 ft. rafts, or high performance "inflatable kayaks". Add a famous ACE lunch and you have the adventure of a lifetime.
