1/2 Day Guided Rock Climbing Trips in Middle Earth

Middle Earth is a section of the Upper New River Gorge contained within the confines of the ACE Campus. The proximity makes it an ideal spot for a half day guided rock climbing trip. And the fact that the routes are on ACE property makes it available to both small and larger groups. Customize your trip for all experience levels. This trip can be scheduled in addition to another half-day activity such as: paintball or guided ATV tours.

If your group wants more fun, the full day is the perfect selection: close, multiple routes for all ability levels, and our skilled staff makes this a vacation adventure to remember.

Evening Rappel

Aren't sure going up is for you? Rappelling is a great way to get out on the rock and see the sites, but it won't be as physically challenging as climbing. Experience the thrill of descending off the cliffs of the New River Gorge in a completely safe environment. Our experienced guides will train you on all of the safety aspects of rappelling and then lead you off of 60 ft cliffs. This trip can take place after your whitewater rafting trip.

Lead Climbing Instruction Custom Climbing Clinic

Our lead climbing clinic is a 2:1 client/guide ratio seminar, held in the New River Gorge. Lead climbing is demanding, covering a broad range of subjects and we ground you in the fundamentals so that we can help you reach new heights.

Traditional Multi-Pitch Custom Climbing Clinic

These climbing clinics cover topics such as hanging belays and rope management, site management, placing and removing passive and mechanical anchor systems, belay escapes and basic rock rescue.
