Making a reservation is easy!
- Decide on the trip that is right for you.
- Settle upon the right lodging and meal package that suits your budget and group needs.
- Choose the time of year that is right for your group.
- Then simply call 1-888-ACE-RAFT and talk with one of our Adventure Consultants. They're friendly, helpful and can answer any questions you may have.
Payment Policies
Spring and Summer Trips
- A non-refundable deposit of $25 per person per day of activity is required within 10 days of making your reservation.
- The balance is due 30 days before the date of your trip.
Fall Gauley Trips
- A non-refundable deposit of $50 per person per day of activity is required within 10 days of making your reservation.
- The balance is due....July 1 for trips in September....August 1 for trips in October.
Chalet Rentals
- A non-refundable deposit of $50 per night per chalet is due within 10 days of making your reservation. This is in addition to any deposit paid for activities or trips.
Tent Rentals
- A non-refundable deposit of $10 per night per tent is due within 10 days of making your reservation. This is in addition to any deposit paid for activities or trips.
We accept personal checks for payments made at least 30 days prior to your trip date. For payments made within 30 days we accept Mastercard & Visa.
Cancellations
- Cancellations received by us more than 30 days prior to the trip date will receive a full refund less the deposit.
- For all trips, activities and lodging, cancellations received at least 24 hours prior to the trip will receive a rain check equal to the value of all payments made, less the deposit.

- No shows on the day of the trip will not receive any reimbursement.
The Fine Print
Liability
Any high adventure activity has its risks. ACE and its affiliates assume no liability for personal injury or property loss. You will be required to sign a waiver for each day of activity and a separate one for caving and horseback riding. Minors must have their forms signed by a legal guardian and/or both parents. ACE does not carry medical insurance and recommends that you carry your own insurance.
Physical Impairment or Limitation
Although we make every effort to enable all people to participate in our activities ACE reserves the right to deny passage to anyone deemed impaired by drugs or alcohol before or during any trip, with no reimbursement. ACE also reserves the right to deny passage to anyone deemed physically unable to withstand a vigorous outdoor activity. Refunds will be issued to anyone denied passage due to physical impairment.
Weather Conditions and Switching Rivers
All trips go rain or shine. We reserve the right to switch trips to another river or section of river if conditions dictate. Other options will be discussed that day. There are NO cash refunds.
Rock climbing is the only activity we do that is contingent upon the weather. In case of severe rain, snow or thunderstorms, rock climbing trips will be switched to another activity.
