| Beginner River Sampler |
This clinic goes straight to ACE's own private beach on the scenic New River. The location is next to a class II rapid and a large, friendly eddy. The setting is ideal for beginners who want hands-on learning in moving water on their first day in a kayak. We concentrate on strokes, peel-outs, bracing and other important beginner skills. We eat lunch by the river, and then spend the second part of the day working on river running skills.

| Touring Sampler |
Kayak Touring ("Sea Kayaking") is the fastest growing area in the sport of kayaking. Because the boats are stable, easy to paddle in a straight line and fast, they provide the easiest method to gain access to some of the country's most beautiful bodies of water. At ACE, you can enjoy a half day of exploring the inlets on a remote and scenic lake, and learn the basic techniques of boat handling.
