| ACA Instructor Certification Course |

Leadership
This 5-day course offers certification in three levels: flatwater, moving water and whitewater. The course goal is to certify at the whitewater kayak level, but certification is not guaranteed and is solely dependent on each participant's performance. Subjects include: safety, teaching methods, lesson organization, equipment, conditioning, strokes, maneuvers, river reading, rescue, etiquette, and specific ACA requirements in the instructor certification process.
Advanced kayak skills are required. Course includes five lunches and camping. Minimum age is 18.

| ACA Basic Swiftwater Rescue |

Leadership
This 1-day course is open to class II and above boaters who want to prepare for the unexpected. The workshop consists of discussions and scenarios, and uses videos, chalk talks and handouts.

| ACA Advanced Swiftwater Rescue |
Leadership
Two day workshop includes: anchors, hauling systems, vertical pins, tow systems, runaway boats, in-boat entrapment/body pins, unconscious swimmer, boat lowering systems, and use of
rescue PFD.

2 Days: Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday
3-Day Level IV
3 Days: Wednesday/Thursday/Friday includes one day ACA Advanced Swiftwater Rescue Skills on Wednesday

Custom
Because our preset course dates cannot fit everyone's schedule, we offer lessons on a private/custom basis. Private/Custom Instruction is completely geared toward your goals and expectations. Private/Custom Instruction is ideal for people who want to learn with their friends and enjoy the unique relationship which comes from a closed course format. Includes lunch and instruction. ACE provides a van. However, shuttle responsibilities are shared among the group, which allows for a much wider range of paddling options.
