Making a Reservation
Call our reservations center toll free. Our friendly and efficient Adventure Consultants will ask you a few questions so we can match your kayak course to your needs. Payments and Deposits: To confirm a reservation, we need a deposit of $25 per person per day of activity. This deposit is non-refundable. The full balance is due 30 days before your trip date. We cannot hold space in a course for anyone who is not paid in full. Payments made less than 30 days prior to your trip must be made by American Express, Visa, Master Card, Discover Card or cashier's check. Prices do not include 6% sales tax. For chalets, add an additional 3% lodging tax.
Cancellations: Cancellations received by ACE at least 24 hours prior to your course will receive a raincheck, good for one year from the trip date. The amount of the non-refundable deposit will not be included in the raincheck. All cancellations must be received in writing by mail, E-Mail, or FAX. Our fax number is 1-304-469-3053.
The Fine Print:
Physical Condition and Experience
Whitewater rafting and kayaking and related high adventure activities require individual participation and differing levels of physical exertion. As the adventure increases, so do the risks and physical demands. Please discuss your group's needs and goals with our Adventure Consultants to help place your group on the right trip.
Trip transfers, Weather and Water Conditions
All courses go rain or shine (we all get wet anyway!) We reserve the right to change to another section, another river, the length of the trip due to weather conditions, water levels, acts of God and other factors beyond our control. All river flow dates are seasonal averages and cannot be 100% guaranteed for any trip on any river.
Keeping You Safe
Safety is our number one priority. Whitewater kayaking and related high adventure activities are proven to be statistically safe, but remember that all such activities have inherent risks. ACE and its affiliates assume no responsibility and can not be held liable for personal injury or property loss. You will be required to sign a liability indemnification and photographic release for each activity and you will be required to attend a mandatory safety orientation prior to each adventure. A copy of this form will be mailed upon request. All persons under the age of 18 must have written permission from their parents or legal guardian for each activity. This requires the completion of our release form by each minor's parents or legal guardians prior to participation in each activity. Please ask our office to send a release form in advance if the parent or legal guardian will not be accompanying the minor for each activity.
