With stories ranging from the rise of the Coal Industry to the ghost towns left behind when coal faded and rafting began, our informative guides will keep everyone entertained while hiking some gorgeous trails at ACE. The trip takes place on our most popular trail-Oather Ridge! This easy trail is lined with Mountain Laurels and rock formations and winds around the mountain until you reach our overlook of the New River and the town of Thurmond. New River Cliff Challenge Description
This is more than just an average hiking trip! Taking place near the Endless Wall, this adventure will challenge you as you navigate the rugged land of the New River Gorge! Your guide will lead you through complex terrain, including some steep uphill and downhill sections. THE REAL FUN part is the end - using climbing ladders and belay systems to make our way to the top of the Endless Wall, overlooking the New River Gorge!
