Mud Obstacle Race

It's time to get your mud on! Challenge yourself on ACE's new off-road, mud-inspired obstacle course. You and your cohorts will be divided into teams. Each team will be timed through several stages...swamp crossing, rope climbing, tug-of-war, mud and more mud.
If you're thinking about not participating because of your level of fitness - don't worry! Even the strongest competitors find this slippery course puts everyone on the same footing. So grab your friends, coworkers, or family for a truly amazing and muddy time.

These self-bailing, highly maneuverable inflatables enable you to experience all of whitewater kayaking without the need to tackle the Eskimo roll your first time out. On ACE's full-day trip, get hands on experience from our trained kayak instructors learning basic paddle strokes and techniques, eddy hopping, ferry angles, and even river wave surfing!

Welcome to Kayak Country! West Virginia's rivers and rapids are respected and rated as some of the best mild to wild whitewater runs in the country. And with ACE's basecamp bordering the New River Gorge, the second oldest waterway in the world, we have many rivers and creeks from which to choose.
ACE teaches kayaking based on a progressive approach, that tailors instruction to the specific needs of clinic participants. Whether you already paddle or are a first-time kayaker, our ACA-certified instructors have the skills to get you moving down river or 'hanging out' in our favorite hole. So gear up, and be ready to get wet!
