A Full Day of World-Class Rock Climbing in the New River Gorge

The Full Day Lower New Climbing trip meets at the ACE Headquarters then commutes to the Lower New River Gorge climbing area. Show up in the morning at our climbing gear room and get all the proper equipment to get up off the ground. Then, your guides will take you to a close site that suits your group’s ability levels. West Virginia's New River Gorge has hundreds of bolted sport climbs and there are plenty for any rock climbing ability level. Your guides will know how to assess your skill and experience levels in order to get you on the right routes.

This trip will go well with one of our many Lower New Whitewater Rafting Trips you can see your climbing area from the river, then see the rapids from your climb. It's also a good idea for Boy Scouts and Girl Scout Troops that want to experience climbing in the New River Gorge.

On the full day trip, you’ll get all the climbing you can handle. Take a break half way through to study the routes and eat a deli style lunch, then you’re back at it again. If you’ve climbed before, you already know that this is one addictive adventure sport. If this is your first time on rock, prepare to get hooked.
