1/2 Day of Rock Climbing in West Virginias Upper New River Gorge

The Middle Earth half day rock climbing trip is a great introduction to rock climbing. You’ll meet at our climbing gear room and be issued the proper equipment to get up off the ground. Then, your guides will take you to a site that suits your group’s ability levels. Our 1400 acre Adventure Resort is located in close proximity to a wide variety of rock climbing routes. Your guides will know how to assess your skill and experience levels.

Once you get to your site, it’s up up and away! Rock climbing is an exhilarating experience you won’t soon forget. We can’t tell you how often our guests have the time of their lives learning to climb. It’s both physically and mentally challenging. Plus, you can’t beat the fresh air and breathtaking views from the top of a route.

Since this is a half day trip, you’ll get your fill of rock climbing and still have time for other activities such as ATV tours, or horseback riding. It’s also a great alternative for groups that have mixed interests – some can go do a half day of climbing while others go for a mountain bike trip. Then, you can meet up and go whitewater rafting together!
