Padling Film Festival
Reel Paddling Film Festival - August 30th, 2008 at 6pm
ACE Adventure Resort presents the Reel Paddling Film Festival World Tour. This is an international event presenting the world’s best whitewater, sea kayaking and canoeing action and lifestyle films of the year on screens in 75 cities across Canada, United States, and around the world.
We are partnering with the West Virginia Rivers Coalition for this event. WVRC's mission is to "seek the conservation and restoration of West Virginia's exceptional rivers and streams". A portion of the proceeds as well as other fundraising efforts such as a silent auction for paddling gear and donations from the community will go to the WVRC.
The evening starts at 6pm with live music from Ken Kruger, and great food and beverage specials! This event is FREE. If you would like to volunteer or donate, please call Stephen Reid at 304-574-7882.

Over the River & Through the Woods...
We’re not going to grandma’s house on this hair-raisin’ adventure! We’re bound for two days deep in the Gauley River Canyon. Day one, hold onto your paddle for a full day of whitewater action on the Upper Gauley River. That evening, stay at ACE’s private Gauley campsite complete with new friends, great food, and a relaxing night under the stars. That morning, set out from camp on an ATV to explore winding trails, steep hill climbs, and “bottomless” mud holes. We’ll have you so energized, we promise you’ll be back next year!
