Keith, the video man, recently released this video of us tearing it up on ATVs at ACE. It is a tough job working for North America’s largest adventure resort at times. I guess someone has to do it, though. Let’s see, in the past month and a half Keith and I had to go out and shoot video of winter ATV tours twice, all that deep virgin snow and beautiful panoramic views were hard to take. We then had to shoot video of a winter Zip Line Canopy Tour. I mean, seriously, do you want to spend an entire day flying through the air at 35 mph? Then we had to shoot video and take pictures of the new Bridge Walk catwalk tour. All that fresh air suspended 850 feet overhead is enough to make you sick.
Gosh, I don’t know, is it vacation time yet?
And wouldn’t you know it, the weather is changing so I’m going to have to do a lot more hard jobs – go whitewater rafting, ride ATVs and jump on the Canopy Tour some more. It never ends!!! Work, work and more work.
They will probably make me go out and mountain bike the trails and make some more maps. Then there is the ACE Lake, the Mud Obstacle Course, Rock Climbing, Ropes Courses, Kayak Tours. The owners are relentless.
I don’t know, maybe I need a raise! All this pressure! Maybe it’s time for a career change. I guess I can always go back and be a raft guide again.
