No driving worries, the Lost Paddle is located lakeside on ACE Adventure Resort property.
Since it’s Gauley Season you might want to try a delicious appetizer such as the Fuzzy Box of Kittens — crispy onion rings served with a spicy dipping sauce. From succulent salads, to big juicy burgers, to specialty sandwiches, the Paddle offers the freshest and finest ingredients.
Oh, and did I mention the wide selection of beer and spirits?
Valerie and her crew aim to please. You won’t be disappointed. With live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night, it’s the place to come for an evening of fun. It’s a casual atmosphere with amenities such as billiards, foosball, pinball, corn hole and large screen TVs.
David and I are hooked on the High Five sandwich. Served grilled on a ciabatta roll with garlic mayonnaise — sink your teeth into tender, thinly sliced ribeye with grilled onions and peppers topped with provolone cheese. It’s outstanding. We always go all out and get the beer battered fries, too. They are great, and we love to dip them in ranch dressing.
Now, you may be thinking that’s not for you. Well, I would like to invite you to try one of the other offerings. We’ve tried many, enjoyed them all, but the High Five is our favorite — not surprising, considering the Five-0 hit in Lost Paddle is my favorite rapid on the Upper Gauley!
