“Get Back Early…Get Home Early”
If you’re on a tight schedule and you’ve got to get an early start for home after your run, here’s the trip for you. The 9.5' Upper Gauley is the first trip of the day on the Upper Gauley. It’s a full trip and includes lunch, but the early start gets us back to ACE in the early afternoon. Plenty of time to grab a shower, watch your trip’s video and then get on the road for home.
We use the larger 16-foot rafts that the rest of the industry uses, so this trip also works for those of you who want a somewhat milder ride (as if any ride on the Upper Gauley could be considered “mild”).
Be prepared for a very early departure…and an “on-time” departure. |
