TRIP OVERVIEW
Get More Out of Your Ride With a Custom Mountain Bike Clinic
ACE has 25 miles of mountain biking trails on our 1,500-acre resort. Add to that the miles and miles of more trails to be found in the 70,000-acre New River Gorge right next door to ACE, and you've got a mountain biking mecca — and one heck of a classroom.
How do you get better at mountain biking? You practice with the experts. And at ACE, our staff knows a lot more than just the trail map. They’ll teach you the finer points of mountain biking. They can show you how new bike technology combined with biking technique will open up new terrain. You'll learn:
- Proper bike fit
- Good riding technique to protect your body from injury or overuse
- Quick fixes for mechanical problems in the field
- Trail etiquette
We customize our clinics to meet you or your group's specific needs and interests, too. We can start with the basics, or move right to advanced terrain navigation, depending on your current ability level. No matter what, our goal is to get you excited about getting in the saddle.
Our clinic price includes equipment rental, but you're welcome to bring your own. Other important things to know:
- Minimum Age — 12
- Meal Included — Lunch
- Difficulty — Challenging
- Trip Length: 1-4 days
- Season: March - November
