Introduction to Whitewater Kayaking Instruction at ACE's Kayak School
The first step in building kayaking confidence is learning the Eskimo roll. This 2 hour evening clinic focuses on rolling, the basics of equipment use and paddle strokes, plus a primer on boating safety. Our whitewater kayaking school will provide you one-on-one instruction in the friendly confines of our lake. After a two-hour session you will have learned to roll a kayak and you'll know how to make proper paddle strokes. You will leave the session prepared to hit those class II rapids of the Upper New River and make the next step in your kayaker education. Since this trip takes place in the evening it can be scheduled in the same day as your whitewater rafting trip, and you can follow it up with a Custom Kayak Clinic the next day!
